| do you reckon liverpool ARE good enough to win it?
in my opinion they have two world class players in gerrard and torres. if they play well the team plays well.
gerrard will never leave liverpool just FYI, he's a massive fish in an ever shrinking pond, if he left to somewhere such as barcelona or chelsea, he'd just be a pretty big fish in a massive pond.
just had to get that off the old chest there!

| It all really depends on what Liverpool turns up. The european underdogs or the "we've won it before and don't give a shit" team. | |

| yeah tru. the thing that frustrates me about liverpool is that they do seem to put more effort into the champions league. you'd think that a team with their history of winning the premier league (obviously when it was the old division 1) that after such a long absence of not winning the top division, they'd concentrate highly on bringing that trophy back. the "don't give a shit" liverpool team seems to be present in the premiership. that, along with a manager who shakes things up and changes round the team - in my opinion - purely to piss everyone off can't help. also when your manager goes into the transfer market and brings in low calibre players such as Andriy Voronin and Yossi Benayoun (he's a skillful player but West Ham was a better level for him) makes you think that the high profile of the club is slowly being lowered by the "Spanish Revolution" as they are calling it. granted fernando torres is a phenomenal player and a great aquisition for the club, hes got them a lot of goals this season, yet when hes playing beside a different striker each week, whether it be voronin, kuyt or babel, the flow of his game will eventually deteriorate. kuyt is another player who had a big reputation in holland, yet for me he hasnt done anything notable since coming to liverpool. sure hes got a great work ethic and work rate, his energy is second to none, but that's not what you need in a striker. you need a goal scorer up front, not just one (torres) but you need another to balance it out. relying on one player to get you goals isn't logical at that level. theres always gerrard but dont get me started on him. essay on liverpool OVER | |

| i didnt mean that liverpool couldnt go on to win it....i was just sayin that over the course of the season they have not been good enough to make me think they might win the champions league......after the display arsenal put on last nite in the san siro they have to be the front runners now.....there is nothing i would like more than to see liverpool vs man utd in the final....or any english team to be honest
Calm down lads.....at least we all support...Meeeeeeaaaahhhhhh Videos
