Mayweather Says He's Here To Stay, Gets reality Shock

Sports Illustrated interviewed Floyd Mayweather after his match at Wrestlemania. He said "This could be another branch to my career, Who knows? It's possible I could be here to stay."

He also mentioned how tough the match was and the misconception he had about wrestling's easiness.

"Before I got involved in WWE, I thought this stuff was easy but no, it's hard work. There's a lot of hard work that goes into this. I saw Undertaker walk around with an ice pack on his back and Shawn Michaels walk around with an ice pack on his knees. This stuff is crazy. It's not as easy as you think."

I was pretty impressed with the mayweather mania bout... but dont know if I would want him around any longer. hope he doesnt think vince would pay him more ridiculous cash for appearances

Mayweather would need to take 'The art of cutting a promo 101' with such fine instructors as CM Punk (watch his indy work), Chris Jericho, MVP, JBL, and Vinnie Mac himself just to have the option of sticking around. Dude's novelty with the fans has worn off, in fact it was gone when his match with Big Show ended.

Celebrities can not have a long running program in wrestling... it always ends in failure. Look at Arquette and K-fed for fuck sake. Pacman jones is another prime example.

Thing about Mayweather though (kind of like pacman) is the fact that he can take some bumps. maybe one day when he hangs up his gloves he could work on his promo skills and learn how to wrestle. I dont like the guy but I think he could maybe one day be a sound heel
