Media picks up on Nick Hogan Sentence

The following was issued by the Associated Press: CLEARWATER, Fla. �" A judge in Florida says the 17-year-old son of wrestler Hulk Hogan should serve eight months in jail for reckless driving. Nick Bollea was led off to begin his sentence immediately after the ruling Friday afternoon. He will also be on five years of probation and lose his driving privileges for three years. Authorities say in August, Bollea was racing a friend in his father's sports car when he clipped a curb, spun out of control and slammed into a palm tree. The impact left his friend, John Graziano, critically injured and in need of lifetime medical care. Bollea pleaded no contest to the reckless driving charge. Expect this to be all over the media in the coming days.

Bay News 9 has a new article online on Nick Bollea being sentenced to eight months in jail today on the charge of felony reckless driving involving serious bodily injury. In the article, Nick's father, Hulk Hogan is quoted. Below is what Hogan said after Nick was sentenced: "I understand how devastating this unfortunate situation has been to the whole Graziano family," Hogan said. "What many people really don't understand, although it really pales in comparison, to the heartache the Grazianos have felt, our family has been devastated and pretty much torn apart by this situation also."

Nick's an ass, how can he even begin to compare his parents getting divorced to having to spend the rest of your life in medical care? What a spoiled rich fucking twat! IMHO, Nick should spend his probation time as Graziano's personal candy striper.

Hogan is full of it, as usual. Problems were brewing between him and Linda before the accident took place. Pretty sure the accident wasn't what alienated his daughter from him. Cheating on her mother with her best friend.....well, we might have something there.

And the accident came about because Nick is, to quote Bischy, "a spoiled rich fucking twat!". Who spoiled him? Who used their celebrity status to convince mark police officers not to issue speeding tickets? Who let Nick not only get away with reckless driving, but encouraged it, until the accident?

The family disintegrated under Hogan's watch, not that Linda doesn't deserve half the blame (hey, she's looking for half the assets, right?). To blame the accident for your family's break-up is typically shallow and self-serving Hogan BS.

On one point, however, he's right. The Hogan family's problems pale into insignificance compared to what the Graziano's have to deal with.
